When i talked with Dovrich he revealed that hes from some sort of secret service of the amarr empire, looking for Dagan since two years. He also told me hes impressed by my fast advances.

However he then revealed that Lord Taphos (the Lord of Mizra) has caught wind of my investigations and challenged me for a duell. Dovrich then tried to sell the Duell to me because it also has some advantages for him and his ministery of internal order, however there was not realy need for selling a Minmatar boy like me a chance to duel some amarr slave master.

Since Lord Taphos is a capsuleer he usually would be cloned, just like me if i die, however Dovrich told me they disconnected him from his clones, taking away his immortality.

The duel itself was rather dull, Taphos showed up in a crucifier which is no match to my ship – im not sure why he did this, was this some sort of amarrian honor thing where he had to commit suicide? if so, why did i find a warp core stabelizer in his loot?

When i came back Dovrich had a few more information for me. It seems like Dagan is part of a group which calls themselves “society of the conscious thought”. He also told me that the Sisters of Eve have a pretty good impression of who Dagan is and what the society of conscious thought is doing. As i allready suspected Sister Alitura kept more information from me.

Time to had back to Arnon and confront her with a few questions.

I went to the Monastery where i found several scavengers. After shooting them all down i found a few documents in one of their wrecks. The contents did not make much sense to me, and if it wasnt for Dagan’s signature at the bottom of them i might have thrown them away.

When i arrived back at the station my intuition made me show the documents to doctor Canius – who was able to read ’em! he said the letters used are pretty much jovian ones, but their used just as a cipher for some message. The message, according to him, revealed that Dagan had taken the job with tutoring mizra and gained the trust of her lord back then to get in possession of information about a pre-jovian weapon from the imperial archives,  whatever he means with pre-jovian.

We both agreed that it might be better to inform Dovirch about this so the lord who was used could get notice. Since we had no idea of what Dagan might have taken there this would be my best shot to find out.

Doctor Canius is a rather unpleasent guy, first he gave me a talk about Mizra and how her Lord and she must have a sexual relationship according to his studies of human history, and then he asked me todo a mission for him, promissing information about Dagan in return.

He gave me a civilian analyzer, sort of a scanner that i can fit on my ship to scan for artifacts at a location he provided. He also told me that several teams before me had been send there and all where driven off by pirates.

The Civilian Analyzer needs a Medium Sized Slot, so i had to remove my target painter from my setup.

I found that the Ancient Tome he send me to was guarded by two blood raider ships that looked like modified arbitrators. Those ships where fitted quite well and it took me a while to take them out. After taking ’em out i had enough time to use the civilian analyzer at the dig which, after a few tries, found an boring statuette – well i gues for Canius that statuette was not as boring as it was for me, he started to brighten up when i brought it to him.

He told me a bit about the personal history of Dagan and Mizra, how they had become very close and how that lead to Dagans fallout with the lord. Canius also gave me the location of a monastery where Dagan used to live before he tutored Mizra. This Monastery is supposed to be abandoned, but he thinks i might still find some usefull information there.

Taking out that leutenant and setting the spy free wasnt much of a task, most of the ships at the location of the encounter where only mercenaries in training so pretty much cannon fodder.

Keita asked me for a small favour – she asked me to go to the Amatar Master of the Leutenant i killed and tell him about it.

The Guy i had to speak to  was a shady Sebiestor named Dovirch Anselm and he had a bureau in Tanoo. Tanoo was a 10 jumps journey from Hek, but that was ok, it allowed my Crew to get some rest from combat.

When i confronted him with Mizra’s death he seemed seriously shocked. He asked me to bring a doll she once owned to her familly and promised me to help me out with my search for Dagan in return. Im not certain how he knew about it, but i had to take the chances, so i delivered the doll to the famillies home. On my way there i had some strange feelings, i was sort of uncertain what to tell her familly, i mean you cant go to a place and say “hi, i killed your daughter, but here, please take this puppet instead”, and i was relieved when i learned that the amarr traditions allowed me to simply place the doll in a container and not to speak to anyone.

When i came back to Dovirch Anselm he suprised me by being rather friendly, saying i earned their respect by proving my respect to their traditions. He then told me that his lord once hired dagan to train Mizra. He also told me that his lord and dagan had fallen out after the coronation of her empress Sarum.

Dovrich then gave me a hint where i might find an archeologist named Doctor Canius, who might know the whereabouts of Dagan. So my next stop will be Lisudeh IV.

Keita and her team managed to get the coordinates and information of a hideout of a smuggling baron named Izia Tabar. According to her Concord wanted him for quite a while, she also asked me to take him out.

I was not sure if that would get me any further with my investigations about Dagan, but since i realy got along with the guys arround here, i decided to do it for them.

Suprisingly his Punisher took alot more hits then his mercenary body guards in their curors.

After i arrived back at the station we learned that after i killed Izia Tabar one of his leutenants took over. Sadly this not only lead to the smugglers going on with their business but also to a spy who had a lead on my investigations being pretty much unable to get out.

Now my next job will be to extract that spy and terminate that Smuggler Leutenants actions.

When i arrived at the battlefield i just saw the hostiles main fleet departing, so my job was rather easy. they left behind 3 frigattes and one cruiser to defend their Auxillary Power Array. A moment after i engaged the defending forces four more frigattes entered the field – but my artillery knew how to deal with them.

My bord computer marked the objectives as completed before i had finished all, but i decided to ignore my computer and go for all objectives. Remembering the main fleet that left i think thats the least i could do to help Tarak Erand and his fleet.

When i came back to the station Tarak had some nice news for me – they managed to capture someone who had information about Dagans Operation. We learned that there was a meeting of Leutenants of Dagans Organisation nearby.

As i arrived at the starbase they where using i found 8 frigates guarding the starbase, it took me exactly 8 volleys to take ’em out, then shot the habitation module of the starbase till they gave up.

Tarak asked me to bring the Prisoner back to Keita, who seems to have found something in my Log data that might help with interrogation of this Leutenant.

Time to head back to Hek i guess.

Keita Eslin gave me a warm welcome in Hek. She also gave me my first mission arround here. Her Tribe was aware of smuggling going on, smuggling commited by Dagan and a few friends of him. My mission was to scout their main smuggling hub.

The Smugglers Hub was a “little” surprise, besides several battleships, a few battlecruisers and some smaller ships they had a functional Nidhoggur operating there, even with beeing only 0.5 this is a highsec system, so i wouldnt expect capitals. Since they also had capitals at the field where the damsel went down i have to believe that those guys either have some real good connections to concord, or they found a way of moving capitals without cynosural fields. Thank god i was only on a recon mission and could head back to the station.

Keita Eslin needs some intel brought over to some guy in Lustrevik. Since the current operation of her is running a bit, well lets call it “arround” the law, she cant send the information through the datanetwork, so ill be the courier.

Im not sure what sort of people Keita Eslins Clan is, but since she seems to be a decent person i feel alot better doing contracts for her then for that Sisters of Eve Witch.

After going through the Intel provided him Tarak Erand, the guy Keita Eslin send me to has given me a combat mission. I am supposed to take out some reinforcements while his main combat group raids a hostile location to create a distraction for the raid on the hostiles main base.

Once again my crew is working hard on adjusting the hardeners to the damage we expect. I think when all of this is done i might pay out a bonus to those of the crew who survive.

Captain Corbulo
