The Sisters of Eve finally got coordinates with the whereabouts of Dagan. According to their intel he has a bit of muscle arround him so i might need some support.

According to Sister Alitura all 4 Empires have offered help with this, and it is my decision to decide with who im going – including the risk of them getting their hands on Dagans knowledge.

Personally i only see 3 choice, i can rule out Gallente because of two reasons: they are known for there extensive usage of drones, which might be a problem when fighting Dagan, also they where the only empire not to offer me the help directly but only through the Sisters of Eve, who aren’t as trustworthy as i thought they where when i started with journey.

This leaves Amarr, Caldari and Minmatar.

Caldari are known for having quite advanced shield and missile technics, they are also know for their cold temper and their capitalistic ways. I seriously don’t want Dagans knowledge to fall in their Hands.

Which leaves me with the Choice of my Minmatar brethren, or the amarr empire.

Alot of my brethren will hate me for the choice i make, but i will reach out to the amarr empire with my hand and hope they dont cut it off. The Minmatar Republic has recently been quite unstable, i dont know what the elders are up to and i dont want them to get their hand on technology that could be used to slay even more of their own people – or worse – sold.

The Amarr however allready posess this technology, Dagan took it from their archives, which means i dont need to be afraid of them learning some new ways of oppressing our people – also the liberations done recently show that the amarr empire is on its way in a new future.

I had to make some Changes to my Crew – not all of them where happy with my choice, and some might evene have tried to take influence on the things to come, i could not let that happen.

In about 5 minutes my ship will leave this station and meet up with Lear Evanus Apocalypse in Manarq.

Doctor Canius is a rather unpleasent guy, first he gave me a talk about Mizra and how her Lord and she must have a sexual relationship according to his studies of human history, and then he asked me todo a mission for him, promissing information about Dagan in return.

He gave me a civilian analyzer, sort of a scanner that i can fit on my ship to scan for artifacts at a location he provided. He also told me that several teams before me had been send there and all where driven off by pirates.

The Civilian Analyzer needs a Medium Sized Slot, so i had to remove my target painter from my setup.

I found that the Ancient Tome he send me to was guarded by two blood raider ships that looked like modified arbitrators. Those ships where fitted quite well and it took me a while to take them out. After taking ’em out i had enough time to use the civilian analyzer at the dig which, after a few tries, found an boring statuette – well i gues for Canius that statuette was not as boring as it was for me, he started to brighten up when i brought it to him.

He told me a bit about the personal history of Dagan and Mizra, how they had become very close and how that lead to Dagans fallout with the lord. Canius also gave me the location of a monastery where Dagan used to live before he tutored Mizra. This Monastery is supposed to be abandoned, but he thinks i might still find some usefull information there.

At the coordinates where they pinpointed the hive i found that mysterious drone again – together with a bunch of smaller – known- rogue drones.

While i got engaged by those the mysterious drone escaped using an ancient acceleration gate to some deadspace pocket.

I pushed my ship to the gate, following as fast as i could, just to find myself in the same situation again.

Smaller drones attacking me, mistery-drone escaping through an ancient gate.. so i followed.. again.

In the next deadspace pocket there where several rogue drones, including the mysterious one, and some ship that my bordcomputer was unable to identify – right before the mysterious drone and the ship disappeared i got a transmission by that ship stating “you will never find the secret of the rogue drones”.

I managed to shoot down a few more drones before all of them disappeared, and got called back to the Station by Sister Alitura then.

When i came back to the Station Sister Alitura revealed that the pilot of the mysterious ship must have been Manthem Dagan, who not only owned the damsel but according to her is a know terrorist. Since i reported that name to her before, after i got it from Tevis Jak, im a bit pissed about here information policy. I knew that Concord guy was keeping important information from me, but i was hoping she would give me what i need todo the job.

Well, she revealed that she knows hes heading to minmatar space now and wants me to go there to meet up with Keita Eslin who shall help me to track down Dagan. Then she said a few things about minmatar space which pretty much show some latent racism in her – maybe its not only a problem with capsuleers that makes her so unpleasant.

Either way, time to get on my way to Hek.

I was able to meet up with Tevis Jak in Tar. He told me that the damsel is registered to someone named Manthem Dagan. He didnt say much more since pirates where seen at what he calls the place of the explosion (still looks like a battlefield to me). He asked me to take care of those and search for further information while doing so.

On arrival at the scene i got attacked by a total of 8 corpii frigattes, which where not much of a match for my artillery. One of them lost a container – and strangely before i could do anything i got a transmission by Tevis Jak asking me to retrieve some strange datacore from that container. How did he know? No clue, but this seriously smells.

After i brought the strange datacore to Tevis Jak he gave me the first set of coordinates to a convoy with one of the survivors. he also expressed his concerns about the pirates who might attack this convoy. He also asked me to bring the survivor, designated “Red” back to him – in my opinion this guy knows too much, and it does not feel right to be a pawn in a game that i cant see.

The coordinates are within this System, so i am going to check them out now.
